Do you like the idea of smacking your partner and the intimacy of body-on-body contact but you haven’t dipped a toe in yet? Do you long to be beaten with just your Top’s own flesh? Does the closeness and raw animal energy of rough body play excite you? Are you kinda turned on right now, after just having read that?

Then this class is for you.

This class is an intro and overview class on rough body play: punching, smacking, kicking, and all things body-on-body. We’ll talk thoroughly about safety, where you can hit, where you should stay away from, and cover the basics on several techniques. We’ll talk about how you can begin to explore and have fun with this visceral and raw form of play safely (and without requiring medical care later).

Bringing your own play partner is always awesome, but not required; while couples and groupings are always encouraged to come together (hey, isn’t that always nice?), it’s not a requirement to have a partner to come to Rough Crowd.

All genders, ages, experience levels, races, shoe sizes, sexual orientations and preferences, religions, pet preferences, fitness levels, tax brackets, partnership status, poly, D/s, M/s, height, eye color, and pizza topping choices are welcome (even all veggie pizza, if that’s your thing; your pizza is not my pizza, and that’s OK).

If you’re into rough body play, or if you think this sounds interesting, then yes, it *is* for you. Come to Rough Crowd for overview, instruction, and practice time. Safety and technique will be first, and then ideas and practice time. No experience necessary; you’ll have some by the time you leave.

Every attendee must register for any given Rough Crowd. To register, just go to the eventbrite link above in the details block and follow along. Registration deadline is 24 hours in advance. No exceptions: you must be registered for the event to attend.

Cigar Chicago April Smoker

Smoker Date: Sunday, April 6, 2014

Our next smoker is Sunday, April 6, 2014, 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm at Blue Havana. Kick back with a cigar or two and cigar camaraderie with other kinky cigar lovers. As always, we’re taking over the shop after hours, so it’s just us.

We’re BYOB, so feel free bring your favorite whisky or other spirit and share the love with your friends; who knows, you might just find a new favorite for your bar, too. Or bring some chocolate… but mostly bring yourself.

Patronize Our Host Shop
Like a munch, Cigar Chicago smokers are free to attend, but show the shop we appreciate them letting us use their space and patronize them: they have a fantastic humidor, so buy a cigar. Or two. Or accessories. Or something. (To make it easier, Blue Havana is now extending Cigar Chicago 10% off things purchased during the smoker.)

Who is Welcome

Introduction to Cigars: Cigars for the Cigar-Curious (again)

Sunday, April 6, 2014, 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

Are you interested in cigars but are intimidated by the idea of going to a cigar event? Cigar-curious? Just worried you’ll smoke it wrong, will feel awkward, will light the wrong end, that the cigar will make you feel ill? Do you think cigars might be for your but you’re just not sure? Is a little experience all that’s keeping you from trying out a cigar social?

If you said yes to any of those things, then this class is here just for you.

This class will cover the basics of your own cigar handling – how to cut and light a cigar, how to feel at ease holding it, and how you take care of a lit cigar. We’ll talk about how to smoke it (and how not to), and what to look for and enjoy from your cigar. This will be hands-on, and the $5 cost will cover a cigar for you to try out in class. This class will be very informal, open to anyone 18+, and is a great opportunity for anyone who’s interested to give cigars a try. It will run for an hour prior to the Cigar Chicago smoker on April 6th, in a private room at Blue Havana.

If you decide you enjoy it, you are more than welcome to stay for the smoker afterwards.

Please check “I’m Going!” on the event page if you’re planning on attending so we can have an idea of how many cigars to have on hand.

This month we have a special guest speaker, Scotty, who will be presenting Trigger Point Massage Torture – Awakening The Pain Inside.
You have been bad to your body, and now you are going to pay for it. Repetitive stress, overuse, injury, and holding tension in your muscles will lead to the development of tiny knots. These are Trigger Points. Nearly everyone has at least a few, and they provide lots of opportunities for intense, evil, kinky fun. In this class, we will explore techniques for finding these little knots, and play with adapting myofascial trigger point therapy techniques for rough, torturous massage play.
